Trudie Styler

April 25, 2018

“People call these things ‘disorders,’ but I don’t really like that word. It’s very negative. I learned how to communicate with people and I realized my so-called ‘disorder’ could actually be a gift. When you’re at school it seems really important to fit in with everyone else, but in life you soon realize that it’s good to be different.”

Trudie Styler has dyslexia and ADHD.

Trudie is an actress, film producer and director. She was born on January 6, 1954 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England. She trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and went on to star in various period BBC productions. She joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, through which she played multiple major roles. She is known for Filth (2013), Moon (2009) and The Next Three Days (2010). She and husband Sting have four children.
